Born in Santa Monica, California,
Theresa has been drawing and painting
since early childhood. She attended Art
Center College of Design, in Pasadena,
where she majored in Illustration. She
graduated from Art Center in 1983 with
a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
For the next few years she worked full
time as a professional artist. She was the
first female art director at the National
Football League, where she designed
Super Bowl logos, posters, and many
other projects.
After marrying in 1989, she stayed home
to raise three children, while continuing
to do paintings. She loves to explore,
on horseback, and observe the deer and
other animals near her home. She raises
African Pygmy goats as pets, with her
daughter, and finds that spending time
with the goats gives her great insight into
the behavior of herd animals.
Her love of nature and animals has
inpsired her paintings of horses and
wildlife.
